The amphitheatre unpacked!

From February 2 to 9 2024, the amphitheatre was temporarily freed from the tarpaulins that have protected it for many years. As part of the development project and ongoing studies, a 3D scan of the entire site was carried out. The aim was to obtain a high-resolution digital model of the remains and the site, in order to facilitate the work of archaeologists and architects. The teams also took the opportunity to completely clean the archaeological site. The amphitheatre was then re-covered with tarpaulins to ensure that the remains were preserved until the development project is completed.
